La UNIBE ha empezado a participar en un proyecto internacional co-financiado por la Unión Europea dentro del marco proyectos de capacitación en educación superior Erasmus + llamado ACE: Aprendizaje Centrado en el Estudiante en América del Sur

• * El consorcio está formado por 16 universidades (13 sudamericanas y 3 europeas) y 4 socios estratégicos (Ministerio de Educación de Argentina, FAUBAI de Brasil, ASCUN de Colombia, y EDIW de Bélgica)
• * Los países de Sudamérica son: Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Paraguay, y Perú
• * Las Universidades que representan a Paraguay en el proyecto, más allá de la UNIBE
• * Las áreas temáticas en las que trabaja el proyecto son Educación, Enfermería, Historia y Medioambiente

* El objetivo general del proyecto consiste en impulsar la reforma curricular basada en el Enfoque Centrado en el Estudiante en 6 países sudamericanos, con impacto en otros, cubriendo 4 áreas temáticas que representan 4 sectores e involucrando directamente 20 programas de estudios. Las actividades están organizadas en tres líneas de trabajo:

1. (1) Creando puntos de referencia internacionales para guiar e inspirar los procesos de revisión y mejora del programa
2. (2) Involucrando a los estudiantes y al personal en la construcción conjunta de una educación superior centrada en el estudiante
3. (3) Desarrollando planes de estudio modelo centrados en el estudiante

* Los protagonistas de los proyectos son Unidades ACE, formados por estudiantes y profesores de carreras

* En la UNIBE las personas que integran la Unidad ACE Lic. Lourdes Arce y la Lic. Romina Avalos en En la UNIBE se han formado dos Unidades ACE, una en Educación y otra en Enfermería.

UNIBE has started to participate in an international project co-funded by the European Union within the framework of Erasmus + higher education capacity building projects called ACE: Student Centered Learning in South America}.

* The consortium is formed by 16 universities (13 South American and 3 European) and 4 strategic partners (Ministry of Education of Argentina, FAUBAI of Brazil, ASCUN of Colombia, and EDIW of Belgium).

* The South American countries are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, and Peru.

* The overall objective of the project is to promote curriculum reform based on the Student-Centered Approach in 6 South American countries, with impact on others, covering 4 thematic areas representing 4 sectors and directly involving 20 curricula.

* The activities are organized in three lines of work:

(1) Creating international benchmarks to guide and inspire program review and improvement processes.

(2) Involving students and staff in the joint construction of student-centered higher education

(3) Developing student-centered model curricula.

* The protagonists of the projects are ACE Units, formed by students and professors of careers.

* Lourdes Arce and Romina Avalos in At UNIBE, two ACE Units have been formed, one in Education and the other in Nursing.
